The Kuna mag coupler works good. It holds both mags firmly together and was easy to assemble. The down side is that it doesn’t work with the
Matata mag loader for the Kuna mags as he clearly stated in his description of the mag coupler at the very first line. You can get a different mag loader that will work on both magazines. Getting back to the mag coupler it seems durable and it is faster to use in switching magazines. When I buy a couple more mags I will get another mag coupler from Casual Accuracy! I like the Matata loader for the Kuna mags, it is well made, very durable, locks in place and loads the magazine quickly and is easy to use. I give the Mag Loader 5 stars as well!
If you Drexel the rear part of the coupler with a cone pit, just a hair, it fits perfectly 👌

The Kuna magazine coupler and magazine loader both working wonderfully! Quality product and well thought out design!
Use the coupled mags for HD ammo. Works great with sub 2 second reloads. The combined base plate adds rigid structure that far exceeds the "only joined in the middle by a bracket" competitors. I run 25 rounds in each mag. (turning it into basically a 50 round drum for one fifth of the price) It is a great way to segregate and identify range and home defense ammo. If it is coupled, its HD ammo. If it is a single mag, it's plinking ammo.
To me, the fifth star represents successfully owning an item for a long time. Currently, only owned coupled mags about two weeks.
I do suspect it will eventually earn it's fifth star though.
